mana pool than otherlasses, PLUS

Corrt, we have a mh more limited mana pool than otherlasses, PLUS they took away downranking whh did spare us some hope of healing effently... It helps if you put 5 points into the enhaement tree for the +int boost. Butertainly now resto shamans are going to have to fus more on mp5 and int if we have any hopes of healing any end-gameontent as all. So our spell damage will suffer in the press. Lets all fe the ft that shaman healers are moderately broken, as weant heal a long fight. I sure hope that developers are looking into this. It would really hurt my feelings to have to either re-sp my shaman elemental OR put her into retirement until they revisit our healing strture. I guess only time will tell, but until this happens, im not healing with my shaman anymore.
I honestly don't see how there's sh a problem for shamans to heal. I have never downranked spells, and I have (as I said above) NO problem whatsoever lasting forever in long fights.
Resto shamans generally have more mp5 bause shamans arehainasting. I think part of the way they intend to "fix" the mana regen issues (sie downranking is something almost all shamans do) is with Improved Water Shield. Personally, I'm not a fan of this talent. With water shield, my shamanurrently sits at ~150 mp5 and 1750 +healing unbuffed - and my gear isn't even half eps yet. I generally don't have mana problems, though. All the ts I've been given have been to put Mana Tide down early, use your pots as soon as they are going to give you benefit (not when you NEED them, bause they won't be offd when you're oom). The only spell I downrank ishain Heal from Rank 5 to Rank 4, and I do well enough. Last week, I went to Mag's in a pug, and not only topped healingharts, but also was #7 on overhealing - behind all the other healers and the spriest. And still had mana to res a few people. urrently, as far as Ian tell, devs are trying to give shamans more versatility with main healing, but the meat of shaman healingomes with raid healing (and the samean somewhat be said of Holy priests). As for not having HoTs, I'm not sure that really matters. Though, in itsurrent form, Gift of the Naaru kinda sks (ales with 100% of +healing, but also on a 3-minuteooldown, has aast time, and doesn't heal for mh). I use GoN more on my warrior at the start of a pull than I use it on my shaman during a pull.
UP: or am I missing something?
We
DOWN: are going to run into is that
